"Barbados" a poster there will know. Hopefully, he'll see your post and respond. YUM! A good cutter is not to be missed while in Barbados! :) LuLu

RetiredMustang Posted February 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2016 I was there about two weeks ago -- its name is "Coconuts". (BTW, the fish cutter and cold Banks were just as good as ever. :D) Dave

RetiredMustang Posted February 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2016 (edited)
Are these cutter sandwiches spicy?
No, they are not spicy at all. The fried flying fish has a delicate but distinct flavor -- think lake perch with a bit of something different that goes "humnh" but not strong at all. The cutters at Coconuts come with lightly-pickled cucumbers and onions, with fresh tomato slices, and tartar sauce in a packet. You can get squirt bottles of ketchup and possibly mayo, but the sandwich doesn't really need any of that. If you like delicate but different fish flavor, have it with the light pickle and/or with tomato and lettuce .. or with nothing else except the bun. Haute cuisine? No. Comfort food? Most definitely yes, but only if you really like fish. Dave Edited February 27, 2016 by RetiredMustang
