My parents have a significant amount of onboard credit for our cruise in a couple weeks and are looking at booking another cruise for next January. Can they use the OBC for the deposit?

No, you must pay out-of-pocket for the deposit. It is a separate charge and is not added to your onboard account.

No. Credit card only. Even if you want to charge the deposit to the same card on file for this cruise, you have to pay the deposit as a separate charge to that card.

We booked a future cruise while on board the Silhouette last December. We were not able to pay for the deposit with our sea pass - had to instead put it directly onto a credit card.
