Cabin Cards for Children

Should we bring lanyards for the children to carry their cabin cards?

If you want.

You can buy them onboard but they are expensive.

Depending on how old your children, they may not need to carry them. When our son was younger we used to keep hold of his anyway as he was always with us.

Yes. We purchased the only ones available in the gift shop on board for $5 and each one broke within a day almost losing the cards. They were defective and I think they realized it because they kept replacing them with no questions.

I would purchase them before boarding.

Thanks for info. Will return the holders and just use the lanyards. I found out at Disney how expensive they were(of course, we don't know where they are now). I got 6 of them yesterday at Home Depot for $3 each and in great colors. The kids are old enough to be on their own some of the time so they will nbeed them.

Well, not trying to be snarky but if you already bought them and the kids will need them why did you ask if you should bring them? lol

I was shopping yesterday so I bought them. Then I thought maybe NCL did it differently than Celebrity so I asked the question. I am going shopping tomorrow and could return them then and not chance forgetting to return them after the cruise. Also did not want to bring them if I did not have to. Make sense?

Thanks for the question. Our kids are getting older now and this was going to be the first cruise we will let them have their cards and I wondered if they would punch a hole in them for us on the boat. I thought if they use the one with a pocket there would be more chance for them to lose them.

Yes, either the casino or guest services will have a hole punch
