Russian Vodka-bringing back

We did Russia with Vantage on a river tour that included Moscow and STP. The riverboat allowed us to bring Vodka onboard. Vodka is cheap in Russia. There are many brands and many flavors to choose from.

I paid about $3.50 for what we were told was "Good" vodka. It was good. One thing, if you open the bottle there is no cap to put back on the bottle. That is because no Russian ever opens a bottle of Vodka without drinking (or drinking with friends) the entire bottle.

On the riverboat, I invited some friends to join us and we finished off about half the bottle, so I had to create my own stopper.

Unlike river cruises, if they notice the bottle(s) of Vodka when you re-board they will be taken away and held for you to pick up when you disembark. It has always been hit or miss for us. Not a big deal either way, Enjoy St. Petersburg, it is a beautiful City
