Zumba and other Excercise classes

We will be on the Star Princess Apr 29th Hawaii and May 14 Alaska Cruise. Does anyone know what kind of Zumba schedule they have on either cruise; 1 or 2 times/day.

 

Do they offer any other free exercise classes on those particular cruises? A few years ago they were offering occasional kickboxing-type classes on some of their Caribe-cruises.

Zumba is usually once a day for just under one hour. Times and locations are shown in the Princess Patter and they aren't always the same every day. It is very well attended. There is no charge for Zumba.

Zumba is offered only on Sea days and only if they have a Zumba certified instructor on staff. If the instructor is injured or on vacation they will try to hold a dancy-exercise session instead of Zumba. The Zumba class usually runs about 45 minutes. On all the cruises I've been on with Zumba it has been very well attended. Usually held in a lounge.

No other free exercise classes, except for Zumba. I've never seen boxing or kickboxing on any Princess ships... of course, I could be wrong. I think Royal Caribbean has a boxing ring on one of its ships?

I have seen it on port days later in the afternoon, or in the morning if the ship docks late in the morning or early afternoon. It all depends on arrival and departure times as well as availability of locations.

Does anyone know if barre classes are offered. I do Pure Barre and would love to stay in shape while sailing. We're on the Crown in a few weeks.
