How does Early Saver work with a $49 deposit if you cancel? It says deposit less $50/pp service to be used toward future cruise. So if you decide to cancel do you just lose $49/pp??

Yes, depending on how close you are to sail date (before or past final payment) you would lose at least the $49 deposit.

Okay that is what i am thinking. I am looking at a 2017 summer cruise. So up until the final payment, if I cancel, I would only be out $198? I of course plan to call Carnival if I decide to book it but thought I would get some advice from my CC crowd in case they have done this before.

We just got off the Inspiration and it was fabulous!!! I highly recommend!

We did Inspiration a couple months ago. I agree that with the 2.0 upgrades, it's a really fun ship!

 

We're doing Imagination's first four day out of dry dock on 9-25. Even though they're sister ships, and almost identical, we're looking forward to seeing which ship we enjoy more!

Just make sure to read the rules...if you apply for a price drop, the full deposit will need to be paid (unless new rate includes reduced deposit), or the reservation could be canceled.
