Lion Carpet in Cabin

We were on Triumph starboard aft.

We got on early and there were a lot of cabins that were not ready with the doors open when we went to ours.

We noticed one that, instead of the usual orange carpet, had a light colored carpet with a repeating lion design. It looks heraldic and kind of British.

Of course, we peaked in and it was not a suite. Cabin 8407.

It was cool.

Later we asked at the purser's desk and the two people working there had no idea of why or what it means.

Anyone know?

Our son is a hotel GM and he showed us 3 model rooms all with different carpeting and furnishings because the owner was coming from Paris to view the rooms before deciding which remodel direction he wanted to take his hotel. It's possible that that Carnival cabin, and perhaps others, were sample carpets to be shown to the corporate beards who decide these matters what the carpeting would look like in an actual cabin. Just a thought based on real experience from the hotel industry.
