Rare 57eric Posted May 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I'm sailing RCCL soon and would like to know if I can work out right away, Does anyone know if the fitness center is available for use before sailing? Thanks!
lenquixote66 Posted May 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I would think that it depends on the ship .I personally never desired to exercise until the first morning .
Stayatsea Posted May 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2016 We usually go the first day while we're waiting for luggage- never a problem. It's nice and quiet most of the afternoon, altho you may become part of the tour or the spa raffle on some ships! Thanks! Welcome to Cruise Critic. This might vary by ship, but the Fitness Center has always been available on embarkation day for us.
astro1861 Posted May 21, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 21, 2016 I have worked out in the fitness center on Day 1 several times without a problem. It is mostly empty, except for a few people who wonder in to look around. Of course, the fitness center closes down completely during muster drill. Also, if you intend to do an intense workout you will need to bring a change of clothing in your carry-on, as you can never predict when your luggage will arrive. CVU Posted May 21, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2016 We are often in the gym on a B2B, as the passengers are just coming on and wandering in. Been no problem on any of the ships.
