Rare patrice1 Posted June 13, 2016 #26 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Room Service isn't really meant as a true alternative to the other Lunch and Dinner options...but it is very convenient when you just want a little snack on your balcony :) I agree the breakfast options could be better, but there is just enough to get us started for the day :p Ha! Agreed! We order one small pot of coffee, one small pot of hot water (I bring my own Earl Grey tea bags), an OJ, a tomato juice , some danish & a fruit plate. We eat it while getting ready, sip on the balcony, and do our morning rituals.:D:D We then go to breakfast in the DR before starting our cruise day. Has worked for us on 15 CCL cruises. Would we enjoy a hot breakfast in our cabin - yes! But it's not available, so we have an alternate plan.:)

PattBenatar Posted June 14, 2016 #28 Share Posted June 14, 2016 Can you order the grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast? If that is what you want. Pick up the phone and say how many you want and what time.
TerReuv Posted June 14, 2016 #29 Share Posted June 14, 2016 So I see a bucket of beer (I assume n=4) on the room service menu. Does that mean that we could get a bucket the morning we go to Half Moon Cay and simply take the beers with us to the island. We'll be in a cabana which supposedly has a mini-fridge. Beats going back and forth to the bar on HMC. Also, since it's room service, we pay. Does it go against our 15 drink/day Cheers limit? The world wants to know! I don't think you can purchase a bucket of beer with Cheers at all. So, pretty sure it wouldn't go against it. We also like to order some orange and tomato juice and some fruit and Danish while getting ready. My DH loves that they have tomato juice on the RS menu. It is in the MDR, but not on Lido. We can also take all meds in the room and not have to mess with taking them to breakfast.
Guineaman Posted June 14, 2016 #30 Share Posted June 14, 2016 Correct. At last! A way to circumvent the dreaded 15 drink limit. Not sayin' that I would do it, just sayin' that I MIGHT do it.
