Thanks for the details on the pull out sofa. We have stayed in a similar NCL cabin and the pull out bed was not a regular length queen.

:) My son liked it better than the NCL Spirit bed pullout which was a futon made for a small Asian person! LOL!

Curious to know how you found the pool decks? We traveled on the cruise before yours and the pool decks were so crowded you could hardly find a chair anywhere, and if you wanted shade you were out of luck. On our second sea day we got up at 7:30 to get chairs in the shade (we were in the Yacht Club but no shade there) on the main deck but then gave up because the only shade we found was in an area with no air circulation and we were sweltering. Was it just our cruise that was so crowded or was yours this way as well? There were actually people laying on towels on the pool deck on our cruise!

While the cruise was full and the pool area was crowded MSC did not put out all the chairs. This was interesting as at 10:30 there were lots of chairs tied up and stacked. I asked a pool deck worked (in the red shirt) if he could set some chairs up for us and he told us to pick a spot we liked and he set them up. Other folks followed suit and he set up chairs for them too. This was by the main pool next to the indoor pool area. There were also plenty of empty loungers on the deck right above the pool too. Perhaps keeping less open chairs stopped the guests from reserving them with towels!

On both of our two sea days a 'mall' was set up and there was very little room to sit on the main pool deck other than in the shade and it was all claimed by the time we went to breakfast at 9 (we walked across the main pool deck on 15 to Le Muse and back 14 to buy my dad a t-shirt). We spend most of our time sitting at a table at the One Pool since it was the only shade we could find. Seems like your sailing may have been a bit less packed. Ours seemed to have every available spot taken by chairs and stacks of chairs only from that 'mall' they set up.
