CruiseFever Posted May 14, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2004 It is also a good idea to get copies of your written prescriptions and pack them some place other than where you pack your meds. It's a good idea also to pack your meds in your carryon luggage/purse/briefcase along with other essential items, heres more on that: http://www.lifeiscruising.com/luggage___packing Happy Cruising Chris www.LifeIsCruising.com Next up: Caribbean Princess 06/26/04 Star Princess 10/24/04 Diamond Princess 12/22/04 Carnival Miracle 03/13/
mii Posted May 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2004 I do not know the exact rule but I always keep my meds in the original bottle. Then if there is a problem I know I am o.k. Marilyn
sue d. miller Posted May 14, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2004 I would say yes, but I really don't know if they check. Of course if the feds board and want to have a "find the right cabin" drug bust, it woud be good to have the right container. Dh has tons of pills he has to take a day, and has never had anyone check, but his are in the bottles. Sue 7 days on Star Princess 10/

CaptData Posted May 14, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2004 Mine were checked once because of a needle being found. I'm diabetic so it is ok for me to carry needles. I had a note from my doctor with the list of meds I take, when and amounts. This is good practice in case you run in to trouble and can not speak for yourself. I also wear a Medic Alert braclet.
