allaboardsharon Posted August 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Hi we are on the Canaries cruise in May 17 on independance. It's our first time. I'm confused about were you can eat for free and where you pay. Like do you pay for food in the English pub or the Italian? Any help would be great. Thanks
swoopy2110 Posted August 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Food in the MDR (breakfast, lunch, dinner sat down) is included in the fare. Windjammer buffet also included (breakfast, lunch, dinner - self service more casual) Sorrentos Pizza is Included Room Service is included (except late at night) Cafe Promenade Included (Sandwiches, Wraps etc. but they are pre-made) You can pay the cover charge in: Chops Giovannis Johnny Rockets (Free for breakfast) Chefs Table If you want more of a premium dining experience Drinks included are - Tea, Coffee, Water, Orange Juice (not freshly squeezed) at breakfast. If you like a drink or two I'd recommend the drinks package as a bottle of beer is about $8 after gratuity and a cocktail will be about $
DeadPhish Posted August 1, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2016 The Pub just has drinks, so thats not included if unless you buy a drink package. Included is the Main Dining room, Sorrentos, Windjammer, etc. The specialty restaurants cost extra. This has a better list of whats included or not. The Indy is a great ship. http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/ships/class/ship/home.do?shipClassCode=FR&shipCode=ID&br=R

sky0000547 Posted August 1, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Johnny Rockets (Free for breakfast) Is this correct for Independence?
cb at sea Posted August 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Usually, JR is only open for breakfast on the larger ships...like Oasis. For breakfast on Indy, you have the dining room, buffet or room service as choices. Cafe Promenade may have some items, too....
Clarea Posted August 2, 2016 #7 Share Posted August 2, 2016 Is this correct for Independence? No, only Oasis class ships offer breakfast at Johnny Rocket's. No charge.
