Tender????

Our cruise documents usually show if a port is a tender port, but Grand Cayman is not listed as one. Is GC no longer a tender port?

My cruise documents shows dock as well, but it is still a tender port.

There is no dock so ALL ships must tender.

Normally there is a separate line at the gangway for fttf folks. They normally load first going to the island. Dont remember there being a separate line coming back.

FTTF works if you MUST be in the 1st tender. Most folks aren't in a huge rush to get off the ship, so if you want, have a leisurely breakfast, and depart when you want! The tenders run all day!

I wish FTTF worked on the tenders BACK to the ship - the lines (at any port, really) can be amazingly long.

Ah, gotcha. That would certainly come in handy on the wait to get back onboard at the end of the day - that's usually a looooooong line. My crew ended up knocking out a little bottle of banana rum to pass the time.

Sadly, the FTTF gets you priority boarding the tenders to go ashore, but not on the return to the ship, and I know in Grand Cayman, those lines can be really, really long!
