i was not on Cunard for many years -

i never wanted to pay 100 % for a Grill degree but now the rates were affordable.

i am booked on Queen Victoria in Queens Gril degree and i still do have Diamond level

is Cunard still doing welcome parties and parties for CW club members?

it seems i am entitled to order alcohol in my cabin -

do i get a list to order from ?

are special items -maybe 2 a week - still possible in the Queens Grill?

Welcome back

Yes, there is a World Club party & Senior Officers Cocktail party (except on short cruises).

There will be a list of spirits in your suite on the first day, others have reported some success with getting something "off list".

You can order special items (with notice) in QG.

Have a great time

thank you

maybe i am very greedy - is there still welcome aboard Champagne ( the real French not a sparkling wine ) in Q Grill degree ? i am not in an owner suite ...

and i do not know anything about the "speciality" restaurants with a fee

if i do pay the corkage fee - is there nuisance of bringing 1 special bottle ? ( not a Beaujolais or similar : but a premium white Burgund or a second growth Bordeaux- do not have 1st anymore:rolleyes: )

Yes, still real French champagne.

Unless you are on board for a long time I wouldn't worry too much about the extra cost restaurants.

There shouldn't be a problem to bring special bottles. If you need them chilled just let the sommelier have them the previous day or at lunchtime.

Which ship are you on ?

i am on queen victoria in october

did 25 Cunards from 1990 until 1999

20 Vistafjord 4 QE2 (3 in Q Grill - 1 in those days a Columbia ) and 1 Sagafjord what was the worsest of all - also my mistake was a last part of a World cruise and other pax did not count ... closed society

one of the most favouritism i saw in my long cruise history

knowing myself i did realize i have to do a Grill in view of my F and B history

i will never do crossings anymore : i was eating and drinking too much , buying stupid items on board ( ties, soaps and even handkerchiefs and spending in the casino on the cheapest machines- not a player at all - despite i got everything back:p)
