How are the lines debarkation day liquor pick up?

Our last cruise the pick up line for liquor purchased onboard in the gift shop was well over an hour - a disorganized mess. Definitely not worth the stress.

 

Any reports on whether Carnival better manages the process? I'll certainly skip buying anything unless there have been significant improvements reported.

Had no problems on the Conquest...very organized and quick.

Last month on Triumph, it was super easy and fast.

that's interesting. I wonder if their sale numbers are down which in turn means lower wait time.

We cruised on the Elation last April> We were leary about purchasing alcohol with tis being the first cruise after the change. It was very easy, 5-10 minutes. We are cruising again this Nov on the Elation and plan on purchasing more alcohol for the holidays:D:D:D

We were on the Valor last November and my husband and our friends were back in like 20 minutes. My husband said the line was long, but partially because people didn't see there were TWO lines. So they went to the other line and got their stuff within minutes. And we had I think 7-9 bottles. They even had 1 purchase split between our 2 rooms. It was a 6-pack type deal I think, and we paid for it on our S&S account, with our friend just giving us cash for their portion. So Carnival had the 3 bottles labeled for us and 3 for our friends.
