Just wondering if chef's table is still offered and if so what is the price. Ww will be on the Star in September.

Tried to search for it, but no useful results.

Thanks

That's really sad, my husband will be very upset to hear this. Did they even give a reason as to why? I was trying to search it and couldn't find anything.

I don't think there was an actual announcement. If there was, I didn't see it. I was disappointed, too, when I learned about it as I was looking forward to it.

Pound to a pinch there was not enough profit in it. 12 pax x $99 (?) = $1200 revenue. Given the staff time, disruption and ingredients, I bet they didn't make more than a couple of hundred on it.

The fact that it is something which a premium line would offer (Mr Del Rio's hope), seems to have got lost in the spreadsheet somewhere.

We did it once and thoroughly enjoyed it BTW.

Anytime we've been aboard (Jade Med; couple ships in Caribbean) they've cancelled it. They kind of shot themselves in the foot with it.

It was always on a port day. (Why?)

It was always an early start. (Who goes for finest-of-fine-dining at 6?)

It was poorly advertised. I always ran into people who said "If we'd known..."

There wasn't even a nominal discount for UBP/UDP, who aer some of the main targets for an offering like this. (Start it at $149 and give rebates to UDP/UBP!)

The menu never changed. I did hear "Oh we did it last year, so..."
