Harmony and freedom are departing FT. Lauderdale on the same day (12/10/16). Can royals terminal accommodate both ships at the same time or does royal have multiple terminals? Has anyone ever experienced two ships being in port at same time?

I've been in Port Everglades when Royal has 3 ships in port. They used terminals 18, 24/25, and 29.

The bigger issue, I would think, is the number of ships on disembarkation day. FLL can get quite crowded with multiple ships' passengers flying home.

Port Everglades can handle about 8 cruise ships in port. 50,000+ passengers in one turnaround day.

Every port has multiple terminals, and each ship has their own. The port can handle the number of ships, they have terminals. Just like the airport. One plane per slot.

I don't think I have ever been in Port Everglades when there were two ships in port. I have however been in Port Everglades when there were eight passenger ships in (2 RCI, 1 Celebrity, 2 Carnival, 1 HAL, 1 Princess,1 Costa), plus a number of cargo vessels. Port Everglades is along ways from Oklahoma.:D

thanks for all the responses. there was a lot of people trying to get in and out of port with just allure in port, so wasn't sure how that would work with two ships in port. tsconley19 we'll wave back. hope we get a good look at harmony.
