The red wine choices per glass under the beverage package are not so great. We were just on the Sun and found the Cabernet, Shiraz and Malbec had poor choices. The Merlot was ok and Chardonnay was good.

That's disappointing. What's up with cruise ships and wine? $50. For a $5. wine? Although we did find P & O to be reasonably priced plus you can bring your own - no corkage - for in cabin conspution but with reasonable bar prices, we preferred the bars/restaurants for our wine.

 

Maybe I'll try some mixed drinks this time. Anyone have a favourite drink :D

Have any of you tried the North and South red blend wine? I ask because I really like it. However I am absolutely not a wine connoisseur or pretend to be one.

 

I recommended this wine to my SIL who is sailing next month on the Dawn. Do you think it's an OK recommendation?
