Norovirus is contact and droplet infection... good to hear they are cleaning walls etc

Welcome to Cruise critic. The best precautions is to keep your hands clean and never put them near or in your mouth and that includes eating anything with your hands (i.e bread rolls, pizza, burgers, chips, etc).

Hope the norovirus didn't effect you or yours on this cruise.

Right off topic here - how did you find the mattresses on Radiance as I have been reading some terrible reports about the hardness of them. Planning on the cruise from B2B from Vancouver / Honolulu / Sydney next September - good bed would be appreciated.

Most wipes & cleaning agents are ineffective against Norovirus.

A chemical called Benzalkonium Chloride has shown it is effective in lab tests.

Look for in ingredients on Wet Ones wipes & Hands First antibacterial sanitiser.

Hands First is available online & made in South Australia.
