Captains Suite

Does anybody know what the average cost of the Captains Suite is? Also which ships have them?

 

I called Carnival and she was having trouble figuring our which ships had them and didn't know what the average might be. It was late at night and she said the computers were giving them issues that night.

It's the conquest class ships. We've stayed in a CS on the Valor and our next one will be on the Conquest.

A week on the Freedom will run you around $6000 before gratuities.

For $6-9K I can get a better suite on a close competitor that has better perks and is going to the same destinations. That's a shame that this companies suite perks is so bad and still charging that much. I guess we will stick with our Grand Suites if we decide to stay with Carnival.

Are there any perks to a Captain's Suite besides the extra room?

 

A couple of years ago, we had one on the Conquest. I don't remember any special perks for that room. Compared to other lines, lots of money with no perks. Nice room though.

Exactly, we have booked the 1 bedroom aft Haven suite on the Escape next December for 6k and it includes tips, beverage package, dining, internet, and my two kids are free. Carnival is great for nonsuite cabins.

NCL rocks on their Haven amenities, If I'm spending that amount of jack I'll be in a Haven room on the NCL Escape (Carnival ships can't compare).

 

Stayed in room 7206 a Grand Suite on the Sunshine and didn't receive any perks for the room type. Carnival is definitely behind the times on suite benefits.
