MarinaDCA Posted November 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2016 Hello all :) We will be on the Reflection in December and plan to buy the UDP. How does that work with a restaurant like Sushi on 5 with ala carte pricing? Also, there seem to be a few upcharge food items like gelato (and what else I don't even know) but do we pay the upcharge or are those things included? Thanks for insights! Gelato is not included in any dining package. It is extra $. The restaurants are the only thing included. I bought a package a few years ago but there was no sushi restaurant at that time. Sorry I can't answer that one.

jagoffee Posted November 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 15, 2016 (edited) S5 was included on the recent TA. You are allowed to order whatever you wish and only pay for drinks that are not included in package. Edited November 15, 2016 by jagoffee

denatravels Posted November 16, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 16, 2016 There have been mixed reports on other threads about whether the sushi is included-- seems to vary by ship Sent from my iPhone using Forums
MarinaDCA Posted November 16, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted November 16, 2016 Thank you for posting that! I had not seen that image before - answers some questions. My other question - one of the bars had tapas...are those included?
jagoffee Posted November 16, 2016 #8 Share Posted November 16, 2016 I may be thinking of the specialty benefit for suite guests? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That benefit is only for cruises booked prior to 2016, so it will go away soon. no experience on that one for Sushi on Five. It could be different depending on the ship, but maybe just a misunderstanding by some of ship's staff?

mlrandpkm Posted November 27, 2016 #11 Share Posted November 27, 2016 Just came off of Reflection yesterday and was the first time that we purchased the UDP. Oh heavens, we've now raised the bar!! Gonzo70 Posted November 27, 2016 #12 Share Posted November 27, 2016 On Summit currently; sushi on 5 is included as a penthouse and royal suite perk. Had a nice mid afternoon snack there yesterday and heading back for lunch today.
