NLH Arizona Posted November 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2016 Not new to cruising but new to NCL. GF and I are on the Dawn for the 11/12/2017 MED cruise. Questions: When can we start making SPA, Excursion, and dining time reservations? You can make excursion reservations as soon as they come up on your reservation. Sometimes a year out, so keep checking your MYNCL. Dining reservations can be made 90 days out in a non-suite and 100 days out in a suite. I don't think you can make spa reservations prior to being onboard the ship.
Gregor4500 Posted November 27, 2016 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2016 For excursions in Europe we got together with other people on our roll call and did our own. There were 8 of us it worked out great.
Rare KeithJenner Posted November 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) GF and I are on the Dawn for the 11/12/2017 MED cruise. The Dawn isn't in Europe. Are you in the Med on a different ship? To answer about excursions, on European cruises in recent years they have been extremely random on being made available. I have cruises booked where they are available for some days. For individual days, they are came available anywhere between two years and about 4 months before the cruise. Many Med ports are easy to do yourself with no need for excursions, so this is also an option as well a private excursions. Rare All-ready2cruise Posted November 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) I was a little surprised with the MED too but perhaps it's this one: "7-Day Southern Caribbean from San Juan" Nice itin. https://www.ncl.com/ca/en/cruises/7-day-southern-caribbean-from-san-juan-DAWN7SJUBGIFDFBASPHISTTSJU?cruiseTour=1&autoPopulate=f&cruiseHotel=1&numberOfGuests=4294953449&pageSize=10&ships=4294961650%204294960643&cruise=1&sortBy=Featured&from=resultPage&state=undefined&sailmonths=4294953403%204294953401¤tPage=1&cruiseHotelAir=1&&itineraryCode=DAWN7SJUBGIFDFBASPHISTTSJU Edited November 27, 2016 by All-ready2cruise
grbgmth Posted November 27, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted November 27, 2016 NLH, that's for the info. First med cruise from San Juan after repositioning.
Rare KeithJenner Posted November 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) I'm assuming it's actually the Spirit, Rome to Barcelona. Edit: ignore that. I see the OP says it is from San Juan, so I give up as to what the Med reference is about. Checking out of this discussion as it's got too confusing. Rare BirdTravels Posted November 27, 2016 #8 Share Posted November 27, 2016 (edited) NLH, that's for the info. First med cruise from San Juan after repositioning. NLH. Yes,,, slight correction, you are sailing in the Southern Caribbean out of San Juan (not in Europe in the Mediterranean out of Rome, Italy on the 12th). The Dawn is a beautiful ship. It just came out of dry dock, fully refurbished. Have a great cruise! Edited November 27, 2016 by BirdTravels
