Thanks for the review! I am sorry about the embarking issues and delays. I suppose I'd rather wait to board than risk bedbugs.

 

Nice to know about the coke machines, we are sailing Rhapsody in Europe next fall with drink packages so I'm glad we don't have to go to the bars now to fill mugs!

The freestyle machines were installed by noon the day after boarding. one on each side of the windjammer and one on deck 6 by ben and jerry's.

 

I don't think these are new menus.

I contacted RCCL post cruise customer non care number and explained to them what had happened. We each got a certificate for a future cruise 15% per person from our cruise fare.

Snorkeling in Belize was amazing! We did the Cay Caulker excursion. Knowledgeable guides and the rays and sharks were abundant. This was our favorite excursion.

I don't gamble on the ships. I can tell you it is very smokey and the smoke smell drifts to the public area adjacent on deck 5 as well as up the steps in front of the theater on deck 6.

On the 11/19 TA before Tampa, from Noon-5p each sea day they dropped the min to $3. Other than that is was always $5.

Yes, my friend came off Christmas Eve. She said the food was good not great, ship in good condition. MDR service was excellent and windjammer was okay, but the breakfast was great.

 

She really liked the CD as well!

Liked the ship, loved our JS cabin and our attendant, WJ was good but not great,

MDR was better than expected, Chef's table was fantastic.

 

Chops...absolutely the worst Chops experience ever. Will definitely not return

there on our next booked Rhapsody cruise. :(

 

Watch out for greasy floors later in the cruise in the WJ...I took a bad fall,

twisted my foot and ended up with a bad sprain. Medical team great, and

did not charge for appointment and Xrays. Just happy it was not broken! :eek:

agree totally with scottc4746. Boarding was nightmare. Too bad not everyone knew arriving early (as rcl emails said do not arrive early) would have benefits, instead of waiting in line outside terminal for 1 1/2 hour.

Centrum was decorated for christmas, main dining room deck 5 was decorated but nothing else. Dining on deck 4, windjammer nothing. Dress code.laugh..t-shirts & short even on formal nights. Service was different each night and menu was nothing to write home about. Was told if we wanted shrimp cocktail we could ask.servers tried their best..sarah & yas were great.

Windjammer..poor quality and setup..buffet or not. Park cafe..a joke.

Cabin & attendant kunal were great. Had put in special needs request at time of booking, needed distilled water for bipap machine. No distilled water use bottle in room..no charge (golly thanks).

Roatan..use lifeboats(they were lowered 1 deck down under our cabin at 6:30am..wake up call!!!) to pier "ship to big to dock" ncl getaway had no problem docking at pier.

We really tried to be open minded about this cruise with all its twists & turns and condescending communications and out right lies from rcl..but.. If we did not know better from past rcl cruises, we would never return to rcl.[/quote
