After sail away we down to watch junior play ball at the sports deck. Then we went back to the room before dinner. Adrian our room steward did get us the mini-fridge. He was handsomely rewarded.

My wife's make up case was found broken on its side. We reckon it was not closed and the unsuspecting room steward tried to pick it up while cleaning or putting in the fridge and it yank the whole thing loose. We are not fussy and understood what might have happened. Not going to ruin the cruise over this.

There was a line before dinner on deck 4 for My time dining. Never experienced this in all 8 cruises on RCI. Most were asked to wait until they were called. When we got to the front they immediately showed us to our table. What!! The couple ahead of us had the same My Time Dining of 6:45pm but we're asked to wait. Not sure if they reserved when they boarded versus us we did it pre cruise. The extra 20min really whetted our appetites. I did not take menu pick or my main course as the focus was on chow.

I had the fish fillet and escargot x2 for appetizer. I had the Horseradish Salmon for main course. 4 thumbs up, junior agreed and finished his before me. I had the mango pudding for dessert. Just what I needed something light and not too sweet.

Our waiters I Wayan and Apri were friendly and efficient waiters.

We end the night early 10:30 by spending family time playing cards in the room. We were all pooped from the travel.

Day 2: We woke up to the sound of the anchor dropping in Coco Cay. That was about 8am. We went to deck 12 around 9am for a mile walk around the track.

Then we headed to the WJ for breakfast. Again not as packed as I expected. I had to ask for the smoked salmon which one of the waiters gladly got for me in minutes. My standard fare for breakfast at WJ no questions asked.

We got our "Exclusive Top Tier Party" invitation waiting in the room.

Need the cabin steward. There is no mini-bar and the DW has meds that need refrigeration. Will have to ask for a ice bucket.

I see that word or phrase Smart Casual. Many say it is no longer used.

Hum....

Following along! Sailing on her next month for 10 days!

Curious on the current Cabana Prices in Coco Cay.

Sorry. Was not able to get the price at the explorations desk. They were closed this morning. I forgot to get on Coco Cay

We had a nice day at Coco Cay. The long line sped up after about 20mins. Tender ride was smooth going over. Feel privileged we made it on since I had read recent sailings were not able to get on due to weather.

We had a rather lazy day. Went snorkeling. Was beautiful.

Had a late lunch and was disappointed when I returned for dessert the stations were all closed at 2pm.

We then did the nature trail around the island. We got to see the infamous local reptile.

Thank you! The pictures are so great, getting us even more excited to sail.

Dont know if you are interested in the Casino but, Im trying to find out when/if the slot tournament is.

Thanks again for the info! Its usually so hard to get up to date info on an older ship.

Ok. So I took only a picture of the menu for tonight. I was so business at dinner I took no pics. Maybe it was the suit.

But here is what I had:

Appetizer: Royal Shrimp Cocktail x2 and escargot

Main: Silver Covina fillet

Dessert: Cheesecake.

It was an excellent dinner. We got there at 6:15pm and left at 8pm. Lots of good laughs.

Our waiters provided good conversation tonight. They got us some special orders for tomorrow's dinner. Indian fare!!
