Blue Bay Beach. Comments?

My husband dives and I don't. We're in Curacao from 7 am till 11 pm and we're thinking of going to Blue Bay Beach where he can dive and I can sit on the beach. Has anyone been there, and if you have, any comments would be appreciated. It doesn't look too far from the cruise ship. Thanks.

Seems to have mixed reviews. The pictures look nice though.

We enjoyed our day there. Good swimming- some coral on beach. Plenty of chairs and good amenities. Outdoor restaurant and bar.

 

We took the Beach Express to Blue Bay- others take taxis.

Check out the Video by KLM. It shows Blue Bay in all its glory. Costs $20 for taxi for 4 each way, it is a private resort with an entrance fee $8/pp which includes your sun bed. Get there early as the only shade are the thatched Palapas.
