Going through customs

Hi, we are an Aussie couple booked on the Regatta 10th June ex Vancouver.

We finish up in Seattle and wonder the process time of getting off the boat and through customs. We have a rental car booked in the CBD and want to specify a pickup time.

We are presuming there will be cabs available at the docks??

Many thanks

We usually take our time getting off the ship when we don't have a plane to catch, have a nice breakfast in the grand dining room and leave the ship about 9am. No problems at all in Seattle, very quick and smooth. Just pick up your luggage, no lines for passport check at that time and we were on our way.

The availability of cabs in Seattle is dependent upon the number and size of ships disembarking that day. The wait for a cab can be short or it can be hours. If you have a couple of mega ships disembarking down at the main piers across from the Marriott, as the same time as you are, I'd be concerned! My advice would be to prebook a cab or car so to not worry about it.
