KODI on ship using VOOM

Recommended Posts

Wasn't sure if the tvs had the port

TV's remote in regular cabins on RCI ships are "Hotel" type and you need a special remote to change the input. (Have to get out of "Hotel" mode.)

If you have the right remote you can change the input to HDMI, USB or VGA.

Took some doing to figure out how to watch my own movies.

But it can be done.

Has anyone used KODI enabled devices (IPAD, tablet) on any ship while connected to WIFI/VOOM? I was just wondering how the streaming speed was or if it was buffering the whole time? Thanks

I watched a few soccer matches in mid Atlantic on Harmony. I watched ***** Mobdro on my Android phone. Very little buffering
