Hotel Recommendations Fort Lauderdale

Hi,

 

Looking for hotel recommendations for Fort Lauderdale. Would like to stay close to Sawgrass Mills and in the plantation area.

 

Has anyone stayed at La Quinta SW 6th street, Staybridge in plantation, or the Residence Inn?

I've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Plantation.

I have stayed at the Hampton Inn in 2011. We have also stayed at the Residence Inn in 2013. We liked both of them. We stayed on points at each of them and I would stay at either one of them again. We drove both times. If I didn't have a car I would probably choose the Hampton Inn. It seemed to have more things to walk to easily.
