Royal in Dubrovnik, Croatia

Our cruise this Spring has us visiting Dubrovnik. Can someone tell me if it walkable from the cruise port to the Old City? (This is not a tender port for us)

It's been a while since I've been there but I'm going to say yes. If not then they will have a bus.

Yes, it's about a 25-30 minute walk. Beautiful views of the sea along some cliff areas. Sidewalks all the way to the Pile Gate/old city.

 

Taxi about 10e for 4.

During our port stop in Dubrovnik, we took the shuttle bus.

FYI, when we were on the Regal's maiden voyage, we were scheduled to dock in Dubrovnik and the walk to the old town area looked to be longer than I wanted to do. We planned to use a shuttle if one was available or a taxi.

 

However, lo and behold, when we actually arrived, we dropped anchor right in the old town harbor and tendered directly to the old town pier! Hopefully you'll be as lucky...

Walked one way but too pooped to walk back. Taxi wasn't too expensive and my feet were so happy.
