If you like visiting the martini bar for those huge,yummy martinis, it is totally worth it to upgrade.

We were in Blu on Reflection, and I upgraded just for the wine. Check the wine list ahead of time if this is the case for you as they only had two wines by the glass over the $13 limit, and they were both $14. The sommelier wanted to charge me the extra dollar. I just looked at him and said, "really?"

 

If you wanted some craft and upgraded beers to drink during the day, it would be worth it.

Yes it should. Along with a thorough explanation of the three available drinks packages and mention of the bars which are premium only i.e world class bar.

I upgraded on-board during our cruise last month. I expected to be charged $11.80 a day but was pleasantly surprised that they applied the elite plus discount on beverage packages to the upgrade price...so I was actually charged only 10.62 a day.

 

Might have been a mistake or maybe that's how the discount is supposed to work.
