Too formal?

Here's what I plan on wearing on one of the formal nights on the Star Princess (Xmas cruise Dec 18 - 28)

Is it too formal?

 

I also have the satin shawl/wrap that matches (one side white, the other side Black).

 

It was a steal at $48 at the Jessica McClintock outlet! :)

 

Just wondering if it's worth schlepping the dress all the way to FLL.

I love that dress - and only $48! WOW! I think it would be perfect for a formal night. A little more formal than some but you won't be the only one dressed really nicely.

It's beautiful. And a steal at $48. I got a similiar one at Carson's here in Chicago for $50 back in Aug. I wish I had the model's shape but I have to admit that the style is flattering even for my slightly bigger shape.
