Tips out of your OBC?

On other cruise lines, if you have OBC attached to your account, the tips are taken out of the OBC. If, you have no OBC, the tips are add to your account to be paid at the end of the cruise.

 

Does Celebrity take your tips out of your OBC? Or, do I have to go to Guest services to tell them to take the tips out of my OBC?

Yes. They basically have all OBC on your folio and then they deduct the charges you make and the gratuities and then if there's a balance at the end, you get billed.

Your Sea Pass account is used to purchase anything on the ship.. Each day gratuities will also be charged to your sea pass account. Your OBC will be applied to this account.

They may have thought you meant "can you give extra tips to crew from your OBC?" For that, you have to go to Guest Services and fill out a form.
