Jacqueline Posted February 16, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2017 My daughter is taking in the red eye from Denver and is coming to meet us at our hotel (we arrive on Thursday). It would be nice for them to have a little rest and not to have to get to the port early just to sit and wait to embark. Any ideas? Much appreciated ! capriccio Posted February 16, 2017 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2017 Most hotels won't promise late checkout in advance. It will probably be dependent upon how many guests they are expecting to check in that afternoon. If they expect a full house that night they will be less likely to grant a late checkout. Do you have status with the hotel chain? If so that may help too.
Lido_Deck Posted February 16, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2017 We have asked for late check out and have left for the ship at noon. For most decent hotels, noon is the normal check-out time. Low rent motels usually have an 11:00 AM check out time and asking them for a late check-out is like pulling teeth.
