LAX to San Pedro Crowne Plaza hotel

We do not have smart phones so can't use Uber or Lyft.

What then are our options for getting from LAX to San Pedro's Crowne Plaza hotel?

 

Or would it be better to fly into Long Beach airport?

Shuttle companies will charge you $17 pp (plus tip) for a shared shuttle...

If you don't want the hassle of a shared ride (sometimes they circle the airport to pick up others and fill the van or they can make other stops on the way to your hotel), then try Super Shuttle's "Execucar Express" service...$62 for your own town car...

We have stayed at the Crowne Plaza several time pre cruise. And, we always use the Blue Van Shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Just walk outside and you will find the shuttle stops along side of the sidewalk.

Tell the Clerk operating the shuttle stop where you want to go and they will call for a van.

 

When you check in at the Crowne tell the desk clerk you want to purchase the $5.00 van ride ticket for the next day for a ride to the port. Then at about 10:00 the hotel will start their van shuttles to the port. They run about every 20 minutes.

If you want convenience I would go with a private car with a company such as execucar at http://www.execucar.com

 

If you want to save a few dollars then a shuttle.

 

Long Beach Airport is move convenient but has less flights then LAX.

You can also book your own town car with ontime1.com for $55 plus tip. We have use them numerous times without a problem. Always on time and very clean vehicles and very courteous drivers.:)

We've used On Time car service numerous times from LAX to San Pedro. The driver was very courteous and professional; the vehicle very clean. If you can afford a private car service, go for it. It's a great way to start your vacation.
