Oliebollen on NA?

Recommended Posts

Is there talk of adding the Grand Dutch Cafe on the older ships?

It is a rather large space on the Koningsdam, I don't know where they could fit it in on a Vista or Signature class ship.

Oliebollen are traditionally served on New Years Eve.......

I used Goggle to see what Oliebollen are. Sounds yummy, but not particularly heart healthy.

I have sailed on New Year's Cruises on the Prinsendam (2015) and Nieuw Amsterdam (2016) and did not see them.

I hope to be aboard Zaandam this New Year's Eve and have made a note to ask about them, if I don't see the pastry.

Thanks to this Poster for the information!

I thought I remembered Copper John writing about several Dutch treats being available at one of the regular food venues, prior to Koningsdam's release. (Maybe the poolside food window prior to it becoming Dive In? Maybe early Dive In?

It may have been temporary. It may have been special order.... (oh my, it may be in my imagination:eek: )
