LIVEish, 7 Days on Harmony (5/13/2017 or 13/5/2017 better yet May 13, 2017)

Recommended Posts

Folks I'm still here. Just haven't had the opportunity to post anything.

Top Pinnacles on board were 985, 1070, and 1237 points. Did hear them mention the numbers for the different levels.

Meet and Mingle was held in Dazzels at 10am, outside of the Cruise Director none of the higher staff attended.

Looked around Windjammer for lunch to see the layout. For those that are wondering, yes they have a full bar on the port side. They also had rolling tubs near the back with iced down drinks (beer, water, and sparkling water) plus a few wines. Outside of dedicated dessert stations I did not see any other gluten free stations or labeled as such. They did have stuff marked dairy free and vegetarian. Also in the back area they have a grill station cooking up stuff fresh (not made to order) and a pasta station.

Other than that they will be hosting a birthday bash today celebrating Harmony's first year.

Also haven't had the opportunity to capture the Compasses yet to post.

I was on Harmony the week of April 29. When we ate at Sabor we paid a la carte prices, not a cover charge.

I think there was an announcement that beginning this week it is changing to cover charge. There was another thread on CC.

Thank you...

We embark on Sat. also as 'Sky'. and first cruise as Diamond.

Couple of questions please:

At the cruise terminal is there any special bag drop for "sky" or just regular baggage drop?

was suite entrance at the terminal clearly marked?

for the complimentary Diamond evening drinks are they vouchers or pre-loaded on your card?

are beer and wine complimentary during the day in the Suite Lounge?

any special tips you have maximize the Sky experience would be appreciated

Thanks!

Some food for thought: Just got done with the Galley Tour.

The Chef made a comment that in the sense of cross contamination for allergies. All items on the buffet are considered as being contaminated. If you have a food allergy, speak with the staff on the buffet.

No baggage drop off just Sky Class folks, just Star.

Suite entrance is clearly marked, it is also the very first entrance.

Diamond drinks, outside of the Diamond Lounge when you get a drink at bar the vouchers are on your card. No paper coupons, outside of the benefit sheet.

Look at the attached file. The wines and beers listed are the complimentary ones during the day.

I know I haven't been any sort of daily recap so far. Truth be told, haven't done really that much to fully write about.

For Day 1, check-in process had to been the fastest I've done. Without having*to fetch cards and explain them to me it cut the time in half. Everything other than the photos was*done online. No issues with the BOGO Cruise Planner offer at CP 150 the first night. Only minor issue was we wound up with two reservations at different times.

Day 2, meet and greet at 10am, top tier past guest party at 10:30am. Some casino time around noon ($5 table mins from noon-1pm). Around 2:00 was a cabin crawl. After that, back to the casino. Enjoyed lounge drinks and snack before heading to Wonderland. Again, no issues using thr BOGO Cruise Planner offer. After Wonderland went back to the room for a "quick nap", next thing I knew it was the next morning.

That's a huge bummer. We ordered so much food and it only cost 21 dollars.

Enjoying your posts! Did you spend any time yet in the Solarium? Curious as to how you feel about it...

Have spent much time in it. Then again I normally don't spend anytime in it. I'm not much of a sun lounger.

Personally I felt it was hot and muggy, no real difference than the one on Oasis and Allure. This was while we were still in Ft. Lauderdale.
