Happen to slip into the Suite Lounge to grab some water. Looked like they were using it for a sales pitch to book the Royal Suite Class. It was invaded by a bunch of commoners!

Is CP 150 only for guests with status such as Diamond and such? Or can anyone make reservations to eat there?

Since I'm preplanning for our upcoming Harmony cruise, I checked specialty dining prices.

 

Ultimate Dining package-$168 per person - specialty restaurants for lunch and dinner all seven nights($50 food credit for ala carte restaurants)

BOGO 1st & 2nd nights-$30 pp

Which port did u dock at in San Juan? Pan Am or old San Juan. The rep told me at the Pam am dock but I was on allure last year and it was Old San Juan. Will be on harmony in 2 weeks

Old San Juan one, think the Pan Am one is only used for new voyages. If you look at Google maps, it is the one that looks like a giant "Y" with no buildings near it.

 

Side tip, both ends of the "Y" let you enter. So keep an eye out for length of lines to enter the pier. Also, ID is needed for entry to the pier.

 

Nice touch, ice water was available on the pier. For Sky Class and above they had a dedicated line on the pier (post ID check).

I've read that Raj is concierge in Suite Lounge. Hope he's still onboard in July. Haven't seen him since Independence several years ago, but he was one of my favs! Tell him I'm coming back!

 

Just spoke with him and relayed your message. He'll be on in July.

Never saw the option to book CK in the Cruise Planner. When asked via email, was told to check on board.

 

Personally, on the first day it shouldn't be an issue getting the time you want.

I thought suite guests could prebook CK. I will have my list ready on boarding day. Hoping I like the menus the nights I want to go there. If not, guess there's always Cafe Promenade.

One good thing about Cafe Promenade, the case selections change daily. They might repeat but it has been different at times.

 

I did think the same thing about CK. Could have sworn it could be booked online as well. But multiple people have reported the same in our roll call.

Saw 1887, the ice show. Had to say it was amazing! This is coming from someone that can't stand ice skating in general.

 

Love how the ice was used as scenery. Plus the show felt like it had a flow to it. Not just a hodgepodge of different sets. The bubble guy was interesting as well. Was something different, in a good way.

 

Mixed bag, due to a good run in the casino I missed The Quest.

For the cruisers who are boarding in the next few months. we received cancellation notices for MTD on our Sept 7 cruise. when we called our RCI agent who booked us on the last 3 cruises, she informed us they are going back to first and second seatings and booked us for first seating. Not positive of the last date of MTD, but she inferred it would be soon.. has anyone else received such an email? I checked on the main RCI site and someone else has indeed made comment they received same email.

Is this for Harmony or another ship?

 

When I booked Harmony for 7/15/17, I requested late traditional dining, and the Royal Caribbean C&A Pinnacle rep said they didn't have it available, he put me down for MTD with late waitlisted. I noticed in my reservation in the last week that it has changed to late traditional.(no email, but since I was waitlisted, maybe that's why.) I do have friends with MTD on Oasis for September cruises who have made dining reservations this week. I'm sure he'll let people know if he gets a change notice. He has just decided on having MTD for his future cruises, and he has many.

We are on July 15th and we have MTD and I have reservations for each night booked. I like getting to pick my dinner time. Booked around our shows.

great.. then either we do not have the actual cruise date it is no longer effective correct or she did not give us accurate information and reason for our change. If you look at the RCI boards, there have been a few others with similar emails but their cruises are also later than summer. this is why these boards are so helpful

What the heck!! I have Harmony booked for June 2018 and currently have the late dinner but was going to call my TA and change to MTD because others have posted the show times and it will really interfere with late dinner.

I am on harmony in a few weeks. I sure hope I still have MTD. Have symphony booked for next June on MTD too. No notices yet

Tried emailing a few times prior without any response. Wasn't until 2-3 weeks out until I got anything.

Keep your eyes on the Compass for the iSkate show, especially if you like rock music- the skaters look like they have so much fun at that show, we saw it twice....

And the verdict is...

 

First off, fries were cold and soggy in general.

Nachos, not worth it.

Chicken fingers, could have been warmer. But they had a nice crunch. Think the use a sliced chicken breast.

Quesadilla, loved it! This was the chicken version. Was hot temperature wise and crispy. Not the least bit soggy. Plenty of cheese.

Chicken wings (hot buffalo), crispy. Sauce had some heat to it, not mouth burning, slight sweetness.

Burger, this was not your Windjammer burger! Very juicy and thick, was still warm. Might not have been Wagu, missing the caramelized onions. Still was delicious.

Cheese fries, odd. Sauce tasted like it had nutmeg in it
