Are the double decker buses and or trolley's hop on hop off worth the money and effort at these ports?.

Can we just walk to these same places anyway?

If we have a map of the layout, easier, faster, more convenient to just do on our own?.

Thanks

These are all walkable towns. Halifax is my favorite, lots to see near the port.

Just minutes from the Halifax pier the Maritime Museum has Titanic exhibition. Harbor walk is very scenic.

The Halifax Farmers Market is located right in the cruise pier complex tons of crafts, snacks, wine. Great place to browse.

There are some steep hills in Halifax. The Citadel fort is high atop one of them with great views of the harbor. Public Gardens are beautiful too.

Halifax is easy to walk around in town depends on what you want to see/do there

Do you mean Saint John N.B. or St John's NFLD ?

St. John's new brunswick

In Portland, the entire downtown area is within a quarter mile radius from the cruise terminal. Anything on the HOHO trolley is within that radius, so generally walking is very doable. There are sights to see outside of downtown, but these would be bus tours or involve cab rides. What are your interests, and what would you like to see.

Have not been there but if you google SAINT JOHN you should come up with some things to do/see there

Many people make the mistake of putting the 's onto Saint John in NB. There is not 's on the city's name. The Bay of Fundy Tours are a lot of fun to do out of St. John to see the huge tidal change.
