Question regarding muster stations.

Our family booked two cabins both under my name. However I just noticed they were assigned to different muster stations. Is it based on where your cabin is? They are not next to each other but not far either. Can we all just go to the same one?

You must report to the muster station you are assigned. Some ships you meet in a restaurant or other designated meeting place.

They will check you off by cabin number, so you MUST report where they tell you. :cool:

Muster stations are assigned based on the location of the cabin. The number of people in each station is dependent on the lifeboat capacity for the boats serving that station

That's correct. The muster stations are assigned based on the location of your respective room.

If there are minor children in one room and parents in the other, I believe parents/kids have to be at the same muster station. If both rooms are adults...then it's not a big deal if you're at a different station.
