Serenade of the Seas balcony privacy question

 Share

Recommended Posts

My husband and I have a balcony stateroom (9624) reserved. I have noticed on some balcony pictures for the Serenade that the balcony dividers seem to have a gap where they meet the ship, therefore you can see into the other balcony beside you.

Does anyone by chance have pictures of the balcony of 9624 or have had this stateroom. Just curious if this balcony would have these gaps in the divider. Thanks.

I think that's common on all ships that have balconies that open. If you're a creep, you can peek through. OTOH, why not just put your head around the corner?

If you're thinking the balcony is totally private, you're mistaken. The sound really carries well.

NONE of the balconies are totally private. Any neighbor can (and probably will), peek from time to time. They are only 'private" in the sense that you won't share your balcony space. So, wear clothes and don't do "private" things on the balcony!

If someone is despirate enough to see me in my balcony suit, by all means look into my balcony. Don't complain later that you didn't like what you saw. As far as noise from "private" things go, have some respect for the cabins around you because the noise does travel. Don't let that stop you from doing what you want.
