ace2542 Posted July 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2017 There are 2 people in my party cruising from new york on NCL Gem. Do the 2 people have to check in together or can 1 person check in after the other person has and have another of hours in new york?
marco Posted July 20, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Check with the line as policies may vary, but in the past my roomie and I were traveling to the ship separately and arriving at significantly different times. We checked in and boarded separately from each other.
cb at sea Posted July 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2017 NO, you don't have to check in together. However, the 1st to arrive should have whatever form of payment will be used, unless each person is paying their own way...then there is no issue at all. Not entirely true...they can checkin using the cash option and once onboard it can be changed to what ever form or whose ever card they decide to use. Each must have their own SeaPass printed out to check in separately ...this is no problem at all and done often.
