Star class genie requests

We sail on 6/9/2018 Harmony. Our concierge has not contacted us yet, I'm pretty sure the TA said they would. We are Sky class. Can anyone comment on the major differences in the concierge service for Sky VS Star Class? Thanks.

The Concierge service for Sky Class will not be as personal as the Genie. The two concierges located up in the Suites Lounge have to handle myriad requests from all Sky Class guests, whereas the Genies are assigned specific staterooms (~ 4 staterooms?) So you will receive a "robo" email from the Concierges on what to expect. But Star Class will get more individualized communication. During the cruise you may have to wait in a short line to speak to a concierge. The Genies can be paged or phoned for specific requests. Star Class have a lot more leeway in what can be done for them, such as saving seats at shows and specialty restaurants. Either way, it is still a wonderful experience to be a Suites Guest on one of the Oasis Class ships!
