Enjoy your Cruise!

We are this week with our two kids on the Meraviglia and we go tomorrow in Marseille off the Ship.

We like the Ship really and it was a fantastic Cruise with a great Ship and really good Service and Food in the Yacht Club. We are going also to other Bars and Parts of the Ship.

This Week is were really hot in all the Citys and so we enjoyd most of time the Ship.

Boarded at just after 12pm (official time for checkin was 2:15pm). Aurea priority check in took max 20mins. Only a small queue for non Aurea. bf99b8b71519ce1f56d95e52342f053f.jpg26d5aa214f975106e0e542dd3ad8fa31.jpgd091e03be56ca6e780004eba40342c97.jpg

Buffet at 1pm was reasonably quiet and got a table no problem. Drinks order taken quickly. Food very good in buffet. Got a lot busier through to 2pm but still tables available.

Bamboo pool was quiet. Atmosphere pool busy but with sun beds available. Haven't explored further yet and just got into room

Got into our Duplex Suite room just before 2pm and it's really got the wow factor! Hot tub was filled, hot and ready to go. It's absolutely huge with big bathroom and walk in wardrobe upstairs and a small version of each downstairs. 74b1693c24ed9974d22262334c0af458.jpg4f326bd247d0ff57a68e367e9b523fb1.jpg47ffe2b7067d27454fcb239358b2abbb.jpg9181ac042a19c88cc45d8fc9a9bd29e5.jpgfb4b65cfbf4b4a5b3f49b1245683f18e.jpg

First minor accident... lost my cruise card! Expected long queues down by reception but the queue was relatively short (this is 6:30) and they had a couple of friendly members of staff queue busting... so I didn't even wait he just popped behind the desk and got me a new card. Got my wifi working (which as Kikki said isn't the simplest thing), booked our massage at the Spa and going to MDR around 7:15 tonight.

Only thing I haven't been able to do is book the shows using either mscme or to so far!! Although I did book Cirque earlier using TV.

The ship looks very quiet in your pics R - that wasn't our experience on the week we were onboard.

We did note that Barcelona seemed by far the busiest port for getting off & on the Meraviglia & that all the other ports, there weren't that many people getting on & off.

There are differences in the Duplex suite & S3 Aurea suite.

Your Duplex has a round hot tub & the S3 has a square hot tub.

The Duplex has a marble bathroom with a bath whereas the S3 has a shower & plastic fixtures.

Your room also has a coffee machine but the S3 doesn't have one.

I'm quite jealous that your stateroom attendant filled the hot tub for you as ours never did!

Hope you enjoy the cruise! I'm glad it wasn't just me who had issues getting the internet working! [emoji849][emoji54]

So, glad to know! Because we are also on Meraviglia but from Genoa from Sunday. YC inside. If you agree, we can also contribute in this thread.

Arrived in Genoa this morning and it was raining! Thankfully it's brightened up now and we're going to head out to the aquarium around. We ordered breakfast in our room this morning which arrived in time and was a good selection of pastries, toast cereals etc.

We had our first meal in the MDR last night and it was good. Children had something off the kids menu (one had nuggets and the other combined nuggets and a very large minute steak). We had tapas to start, paella, mousaka and desert. Service was excellent with bread being offered regularly and drinks being topped up without prompting. Too regularly for me as I polished off a bottle of wine without noticing and have a sore head this morning.

We got to the restaurant around 7:45 and didn't exit until gone 9:30. I would say that was just a tad too long for us and seemed to be caused by a delay on the deserts.

When we came out there were people waiting to come in.
