hi guys

can anyone tell me the proceedures for getting off the ship, going through security and can you take wine through customs from the ship.

Cruise lines have their own disembarkation procedures. Guests are informed days before. With your luggage, picked up from terminal or schlepped from ship, you are directed to the customs line where you are also expected to declare anything in excess of allowed duty free items.

I would post this on the Cunard board.

 

With that said we arrived on the QM2 to Brooklyn in 2014.

 

We were in Queens Grill so had early disembarkation along with those in Princess Grill.

 

I believe the rest of the disembarkation was based on airline flights but again ask on the Cunard Board.

 

You will pick up luggage in the terminal before going through customs. How much wine you can bring in is based on USA customs.

Just to clarify about the wine. Yes you can bring in wine. If the amount is above the duty free allowable, then you will have to pay duty on the excess amount.
