On the 16 nighter from London to Hamburg. Current status

 

- ship great

- crew great

- food great

- wine whites better than reds - cocktails wonderful

- entertainment not bad

- weather was wonderful until we hit Sweden

- trivia questions too bloody hard

 

100% silversea standard. Couldn’t be happier.

 

It’s been 4 or 5 years since we were on silversea, standards have not dropped.

Glad you're having a great time and pleased your appraisal pretty much matches our own from March.

 

And the weather on my Tower Bridge start was great until reaching Stockholm too where is was very grey and raining.

That's just what we want to hear, as we are back on the Wind in a few weeks time and we are really looking forward it.

 

I would interested to hear who the Captain will be and the Cruise Director, Maitre'D and Hotel Director as well.

Thank you for that post. Husband, his brother, & us wives will be on Wind (and on Silversea) for the first time this March/April. We were really looking forward to it till I started reading negative reviews. Really encouraged to see this positive one!

 

Now I've got to go study my trivia....
