loan_girl Posted September 9, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2017 So this is my first time cruising on Royal Caribbean since 1996 & I was surprised when we got back to our cabin after dinner on the first night and there was no turndown service. Is that typical of Royal Caribbean? Or just our cabin Steward?
Hey Tina Posted September 9, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2017 That's atypical.

Norwich Cruiser Posted September 9, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 9, 2017 Although no real excuse I would suggest he may have forgotten or as this was boarding day he/she may have been just to busy and not got round to doing it. You could ask the cabin steward the following day just to check it out.
SRF Posted September 9, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2017 You will not get full service the first night. Same a few weeks ago, there was partial (drapes closed, lights set), but not the full monty. I asked the next day and was told it was not a full service the first night. sellwingri Posted September 9, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 9, 2017 When you leave for dinner you should always put that little card in your door that says "make up room". It helps them remember which rooms should be made up
