We were on Allure for Halloween and they were passing out candy at most of the shops in the promenade and in central park for young trick or treeters. and they had a costume show in the promenade with a few hundred participants and set up a haunted house. It was on a TA, on a sea day if that might make a difference.

im hoping they have some activities for my children to partake in, but then realized hey, that works both ways.

should i bring candy or such for trick or treaters or does that not happen?

Sure, why not?

We went on a Halloween cruise a few years back on Carnival...they had a scavenger hunt trick-or-treat for the kids. My girls (then 12 and 10) seemed to enjoy it. Also, many of the adults had on costumes and they had a costume contest for the adults, it was a blast!

not just Halloween , but anytime ...what kind of treats would the crew.stewards be into? Like a bag of Dove chocolates or hersheys mini's or something?

We usually bring a mixture of Hershey's miniatures or small bags of Lindor chocolates. No matter what kind of candy we have always received great smiles and thank you from all. We gave a bag to the head waiter and you would have thought we gave him a million dollars. He told us he was having a bad day and the candy brightened his day. It was a genuine response. He mentioned it several times during the cruise.
