Beach in Italy and Greece

I have been seeing many promotions about “beach party barbecue” and “caviar in the surf”. I have always assumed these were in the Caribbean. We will be on an Italy/Greece cruise next year (October). Any chance we see them on this cruise?

I did Athens --> Malta on the Odyssey this past summer. We didn't have a beach day, but they did still do the "caviar in the surf" party - just in the pool! :)

Of our 120 days , we have never had beach bbq, never had caviar in the surf ( had it in swimming pool ) and only once a marina day and that was on the Spirit.That is sailing in the Med , far east, Caribbean, Arctic, and Brasil. So don`t get your hopes up to much.

I have never seen a beach bbq or caviar in the surf in the Med. - it is quite different from the Caribbean, after all. However, you may (though it is a bit late in the season) have a marina day; I think some Captains and staff are more willing than others to organise these, and also a 'caviar in the pool' event. Getting to a beach for a swim and sunbathe does happen, depending on there being an excursion or on you going there under your own steam.
