After Breakfast we just hung out in loungers until time to go for the group photo. Another cruise ship in the distance.

After the group photo I had to go to the Black & White Lounge for our Cruise Critic Meet & Mingle. Beautiful lounge, and MSC threw a great party for us. The Captain attended and posed for pix with any and everyone who wanted one with him. He seemed to be a genuinely nice person and was very friendly and personable.

The cruise Director. I have to say I was impressed with the entertainment staff. They were at every event hyping up the crowds and being very interactive.

We sat in the atrium and people watched for awhile before heading back to the Black Crab for lunch. This time the waiter seemed to have a bit of an attitude, not with my uncle or I but with some fellow guests whom we were sitting with. I understand that it sucks for them in the BC on days like this where they have to do 4 services in one day, but that's the job you took on.

 

 

 

For lunch I started with the Cannelloni, very good.

 

Then I had the Veal Piccata, it was ok a little tough but the Angel Hair Pasta was superb!

 

For dessert I got Banana Ice Cream, it was awesome!

After lunch we went exploring a little more. We headed up to the Galaxy Disco, great views from there.

 

 

 

 

 

We are at late seating, 8:30p.m., so a little between meals snack is in order. I got a cheeseburger and fries. They were ok again I've had better and I've had much worse.

So we just chilled in the cabin until time to go to the show tonight, which is The Mask. It's based off the movie with Jim Carey, and I really enjoyed it. No there really is no story really, but the music is very upbeat and the dancers very energetic. Yes they lip sync through much of it, but I still found it entertaining, it gets a thumbs up from me.

Escargots Bourguignonne, very yummy.

 

Ravioli di Gamberi, delicious.

 

Cherries Jubilee, good but there was only 1 cherry. Everyone else that got it also only had 1 cherry.

 

I also got some Peach Ice Cream, their ice creams and sorbets are delicious, loved them!

So that's it for today, after dinner we headed back to the cabin and slumber time. We're not much for late night partying, although we heard from others in our group the night life goes well into the wee hours of the morning if that's your thing. Our cabin stewardess left us this creation tonight. We had a great day at sea today and enjoyed exploring the ship, it's just a stunningly beautiful ship. With the exception of the Black Crab Restaurant all staff we've encountered have been very friendly, always a greeting of some sort.

Well I did warn everyone it was going to take awhile. This little thing called life, so rudely keeps interrupting me writing this review, or more of an accounting of my vacation, :rolleyes::D.

 

 

I thank everyone for their patience and understanding. Hopefully it's worth the wait.

So today we are in Montego Bay, Jamaica. We've been told it's a $20pp cab fare to go anywhere from this port. Dunn's River Falls is a 2 hour drive from here so no plans but to walk around the tiny little shopping area here in port. Mostly hung out in a lounger all day and soaked up the rays. Got in the pool a couple of times and took a ride on the water slide, it was fun. We had breakfast in the Black Crab Restaurant again this morning, Nothing major to report except the attitude of the staff in this restaurant seems down, again just my humble opinion.

 

Breakfast this morning, Eggs Benedict, very good, Sausage Links, yummy and Hash Brown Patties, also yummy.

They had a name that animal trivia, I didn't write my answers down, I should have I would have gotten a 10 out of 10.

Soon it was time for lunch, and take a rest from the sun. When I went to the cabin to drop off my stuff there was a platter of Chocolate Covered Strawberries with a note of apology. The night before the wooden slates on my bed broke, they fixed them while we were at the show and dinner. Nice touch I thought.

 

 

Lunch in the buffet, I got a salad with Ranch Dressing, yummy and Pepperoni Pizza, yummy and Artichoke & Cream Sauce Pizza, very good.

 

Round 2 Rice and Cheese Ball, I didn't care for it. Vegetable Curry, delicious. Fruit Tart one of my favorite desserts on the Divina next to these cream puffs so good! Tiramisu, I didn't care for it. Chocolate Mousse, delicious.

After stuffing myself, one of the issues I have with eating in the buffet I way overeat! It was time to walk some of that food off so off we went to explore the area around port. That big huge building is completely empty inside. The small shopping area is off to the side of the building, maybe 10 stalls.

It was hotter than you know what out, and there is not that much to see in port around the ship. We headed back in to the ship and decided to do some more exploring since everyone was out and about today in Jamaica.

So we worked up a second appetite believe it or not and decided now was as good a time as any to try a snack from the Sports Bar. The waiter was not very friendly, but the bartender was.

We got the Golden Fried Mozzarella Sticks, they were ok and the Spinach, Cheese & Artichoke Dip, it was good it would have been awesome if it had been served hot instead of cold.

We will be going on the Divina for the third time on Nov. 25. This time, we will have an inside cabin on Deck 12. Did you have a chair in the cabin, other than the "cube" under the desk?
