creel5857 Posted November 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 7, 2017 in final stages of planning to leave in a few weeks. May I please confirm with those who have been in the signature suites: 1. is the table on the balcony large enough to have a meal on 2. are there binoculars in this level of suite or just the larger suites 3, since the couch is under the TV are the side chairs comfortable to sit in rather than sitting on the bed 4. where do we go to find staff to change dining room reservations.....we have early diner like we have done for years but have begun to think about changing it to anytime dining as there will be a few nights that we can not make the early dining time and I assume if we don't make it to the early dining as scheduled we cant eat in the anytime dining room that night thanks so very much for any help and comments about signature suites or dining
Sea42 Posted November 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2017 I can tell you that yes there are binoculars in the room. When we ate on our balcony we had room service put all of the meal on the table in the cabin and we consolidated things a bit and brought it out to the balcony ourselves. It was doable for us. We just didn't bring everything out there as it was delivered.
Rare kazu Posted November 7, 2017 #3 Share Posted November 7, 2017 You will have no problem changing to any time dining. There is usually a table set up for MDR reservations on embarkation day and/or you can simply tell the manager/assistant manager in the dining room that you would like to switch to anytime dining. Since you haven't sailed yet, you can also contact your TA/PCC/HAL (whomever you booked with) and ask them to amend your dining to anytime and have it taken care now. VermeulT Posted November 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted November 7, 2017 Here are photos of an SS suite on the Eurodam which are similar to the Westerdam.... you can also look on halfacts if your specific cabin has had pictures provided. http://halfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Eurodam-6092
giraffegirl Posted November 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted November 25, 2017 There is an arm chair at the desk next to the window that you can move to watch tv from and another armless chair at the other (makeup) desk that can be used. Both are utilitarian rather than comfortable. There are 3 pillows on each person's bed plus another 6 or so on the couch to build a comfortable viewing area on the bed. The signature suites are very comfortable since the dry dock.
